How it works:
Ergonomic Footwear™ evaluation technology studies the biomechanics of the human body and designs a custom foot orthotic which successfully corrects body imbalances beginning at the foot and extending to the ankle, knee, hip, and back. This unique orthotic evaluation system accurately measures the various bone structure relationships of the foot in 3D imaging. The custom made orthotic corrects body misalignments and are cost effective when compared to alternative measures. By realigning the body biomechanically we reduce pain and fatigue and enhance physical performance.
The 3D Imaging System creates a unique computerized analysis of standing and walking (gait) using a digitized force plate. This ensures an accurate understanding of dynamic forces passing through your feet and lower extremities during weight bearing. The customized prescriptive reports for doctors and simple explanation analysis for the user are generated automatically. The entire exam takes less than 5 minutes. Alternative methods elsewhere may create casts of each of your feet, ask you stand in a foam box, or lie down -- none of which adequately simulates normal, balanced weight bearing, or gait.
